Engineer Project Manager - Motivated individual to lead, direct, develop and manage port, waterfront and marine related projects. Independently coordinate the work of project engineers, engineers in training and the balance of a multidiscipline team from conception through completion of a project. Responsible for establishing and managing client relations as well as being financially responsible, having the ability to promote business, is familiar with contracts, can develop proposals, manage the design, and production efforts, and can provide the construction permitting administration efforts on behalf of the client.
Have the ability to manage several medium sized projects concurrently. Prefer this individual to have the desire to mentor younger professionals. Ability to coordinate work within multiple offices will be necessary. Coordinate workload with the project team in order to complete the projects and assignments on schedule. Project Manager - Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Project Management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and manages schedules/prepares reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to program operational requirements. Prepare and submit reports, briefings, and schedules to meet program objectives/goals. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and required approvals and keep management informed. Candidate must possess knowledge of project management fundamentals, theories, and concepts.
